Security of your water system is of primary importance to the community at large. That’s why Preload offers many features to help prevent access to your water system via the water tank.
We can provide securely fastened stainless steel security vents protected by heavy duty cages. The vent interior can also be protected by two layers of stainless steel screening. For buried tanks, gooseneck vents can be installed, which also use two layers of stainless steel screening.
Preventing the climbing of tank ladders is also an excellent security feature. Anti-climb plates which are securely locked to the ladder are commonly used to dissuade intruders.
Manways can easily be protected by using heavy duty manwaysecurity covers equipped with padlocks.
Stainless steel screening can be used as overflow guards on tank overflow exits. The screening is heavy duty and securely fastened. In addition, a duck bill type check valve can be installed up line of the exit.
A dome hatch intruder alarm can be installed to notify a central control station in the event of an attempted intrusion.
If required, a facility intruder detection system can also be installed. This may include video and motion detection systems located on and around the tank, and are connected wirelessly to a central control station.
